Snap-Lock® Cam Industrial Logic.
The EA700 series represents the ultimate in heavy-duty mechanical switching. Built for high-cycle industrial apps with silver alloy contacts and die-cast zinc durability.
Built for
Severe Environments.
The EA700 is engineered to provide fail-safe contact logic using a series of uniquely designed mechanical cams.
Harsh Process Dynamics
Standard duty switches cannot handle the rapid, high-torque cycles of heavy industrial machinery.
Contact Arcing Fatigue
High current inductive loads lead to premature contact pitting in non-hardened alloy switches.
Mounting Inflexibility
Fixed mounting styles often lead to mechanical stress on switch housings during high vibration.
Operational Lag
Slow contact transition in non-snap-action switches results in unreliable logic signal timing.

Combination B1/B2 Cam
The versatile Snap-Lock mechanism is achieved through the use of uniquely designed cams. A standard EA700 switch is supplied with the B1/B2 combination.
Contacts function when lever is operated CW.
Contacts function when lever is operated CCW.

Standard B1/B2 Travel Metrics
| (A) Trip Travel | 18° |
| (B) Reset Travel | 14° |
| (C) Recommended Travel | 30° |
| (D) Total Travel | 90° |
| Operating Torque (Standard) | 1NO/1NC: 15 LB-IN. 2NO/2NC: 27 LB-IN. 3NO/3NC: 33 LB-IN. |
Maintained Position CAM (M)
Maintained switches are available for applications that require maintained contacts. Available in two contact operations:
- Normally open contacts close and normally closed contacts open when lever is moved CW.
- Contact arrangement is maintained as the lever is spring returned to starting position.
| Maintained M CAM Data | CCW | CW |
|---|---|---|
| Trip Travel | 25° | 55° |
| Reset Travel | 25° | 22° |
| Min. Travel to Maintain | 54° | 55° |
| Total Travel | 124° | 116° |

Neutral Position N CAM
Designed for applications requiring a neutral position in the contact arrangement. Both the operating lever and cam are spring returned to starting position.
